Wondering if anyone out there is aware of any way to raise the height of the RV toilet to around 17 inches?
We have handicapped height (ADA Compliant) toilets available for homes but what about for RVs?
We would definitely appreciate any information as to whether or not riser rings are available for RV toilets.

There are also taller toilets that you can buy to replace your present toilet, for handicapped RVers. My niece has one in their Cougar fifth wheel. Some of these can be found in the Camping World catalog, or on their website.

The toilets that Camping World sells are standard height. They also sell low-profile models for RV's that have a built-in riser off of the floor.
I checked Thetford and Sealand and neither company manufactures a higher toilet than the standard height. The ones seen at Camping World look higher compared to the low-profile models but in actuallity are of a standard height.
The riser, mentioned in a previous post, is the way to go.

Didn't like the looks of the riser above so had the actual floor built up from the toilet back to the wall and then ran tile up and over it. Then used the Sealand std height toilet.

We bought a 18" high toilet from Camping World and installed it in place of the low one we had in our last MH. It was wonderful.................... They had several heights when we were looking.

I use one of those framed toilet risers (Aluminum Commode) that can be used as a potty chair, I Have one at home and liked it so well i got one for our TT you can find them at Salvation Army or Goodwills or even second hand stores for around 20 dollars as compared to almost 90 in Home Care stores. Look for the ones with the bucket that also converts to just a riser with the sleeve and also the hand supports and 4 legs here is a link the height is ajustable
