We were saddened to read that the Chena Marina Campground in Fairbanks will be closing or reducing services next season. We spent several enjoyable days there in July 2005. We also enjoyed our stay at the Anchorage RV Park which closed this past year.

Really too bad as they both were among the best stops we made at non-public camgrounds in Alaska.

We really liked the CG also, as it was neat to set there and watch the sea planes take off and land. Was there a reason posted why?

States I have spent the night in my current rig, bought three years ago.
Have RV'ed through 49 states and been in all 50, just short of my half-century.
