Well it looks like I have a leak in the hydraulic system which controls the slide outs and landing gear. We moved the fiver a few feet the rotate tire a month ago. At which time we noted the reservoir was empty. We added a half quart of ATF to pull in the slides for the move but I discovered last week the reservior was empty again.
Now I've been told to expect leaks at the point where the tank meets the pump. However, nobody seems to know how to fix it short of replacing the whole unit ($$$.)
I've going to try some Transmission seal from Barr's and some Lucas oil power steering sealent which I've heard work well too. I'm looking for suggestions at this point.

Your hydraulic system should not leak at all. I would not mess around with the gunky sealants you suggest. Either take it to a dealer or have a mobile RV repair come out and take a look at it. If you are loosing ATF to the degree you mention the commercial gunks will not fix it. Also you should be able to see the stuff if the whole resevoir has leaked.
