Remember folks, "rare" is just a scale of frequency of that which is possible and does occur.

My buddy told me this yesterday about what happened on his street. A fellow had his TT in his driveway. The house is set back off windy road in this upscale subdivision. The TT was out front of the garage.

Grandma planned to "camp" in the TT with the grandchildren on Friday night of Labor Day weekend. When the weekend arrived, it was beautiful, so they all made a change in plans and went to the cottage.

They got a call at 3:00 AM Friday night...

A neighbor happened upon a guy trying to steal something from another neighbor. He gave chase. The guy jumped in his pickup, kept his lights off and took off down the street.

The neighbor says he stopped chasing when he hit aroung 80 MPH (this is on a 25 MPH residential street).

The pickup went over a bridge, then failed to see the big arrow showing the street curved. He drove through the sign, across a lawn or two, and plowed into the parked TT in the driveway. He hit it right at the axles.

He knocked the box off the frame, had the frame wrap the front of his truck, and pushed the frame into a tree where another part of the frame wrapped the tree.

They think he was going about 100 MPH. No seat belt. Legs, arms, and other bones broken.

Can you imagine if that grandma was sleeping in it with the kids?

Boy I hope he is in an area where you are able to park you'r rv in the driveway because some liberal judge just may award the Piece of $%#@ thief a large settlement.

The neighbor needs an attorney because the dirt-bag or his family will sure as heck sue him for chasing him in the first place! Isn't meth a wonderful drug? He was probably on it.

Proof that criminals are usually not the brightest people to begin with.

Thank goodness Grandma and kids were safe at the cottage!

My neighbor had his TT parked in the street last month and it got side swiped, by something fairley large, because the street side was totally wreaked clear up to the roof. He had good spirit about it though, and just said, he was wanting a new one anyway!
