I decided this thread was useless without pics. When I saw my friend at church today, I asked him to try to get some. He was happy to oblige, plus add the following words:

Nick here's all the shots I took this evening of the neighbor's trailer that WAS parked in his driveway. Now the frame is wrapped around his neighbor's tree.
When there's a sign on the side of the road with an arrow pointing to the right, one should begin to curve in that direction. NOT take out the sign along with a few mailboxes before plowing literally through the trailer and coming out on the opposite side.
Note the truck bumper is still wrapped around that same tree.
This is what happens when a loser tries to steal something and a neighbor on the lookout chases him down. The guy in the impact truck (I never saw the truck) broke both arms, one leg and suffered head injuries. Sometimes justice gets served immediately.
I hope the boys are happy with the pictures.

Wow. That is a tragedy, but a bigger one was avoided, so we can at least be thankful for that. Thanks for posting the pics - words couldn't accurately describe that accident.

Thank God for the fact no one was in that trailer when this happened! The story would have had a worse ending than this.

I'm glad only the bad guys were hurt in this, too. I probably should be ashamed of myself for thinking this but I really hope the black water tank sprayed the thief good

Thanks for posting the pics.....it sure puts things into perspective. No sympathy here for the thief either.

Nick, your original write up gave me a pretty good idea of what the damage might look like but those pictures show just an incredible amount of damage much worse than expected.

I think someone special was watching over that family that weekend.

Mike.

The neighbor needs an attorney because the dirt-bag or his family will sure as heck sue him for chasing him in the first place! Isn't meth a wonderful drug? He was probably on it.

Nobody's forcing the theif to flee. I understand that there are a few wierd judges that might give us pause, but most of they would probably slam the door on this sort of lawsuit.

WOW! Thank god grandma and the kids were not in that wreck! That would have been very sad. That jerk will probably sue someone and that is another sad state of things. Thanks for posting those pictures!
