In the last 5 or 6 years we have overnighted in a Walmart twice. The first time was quiet an experience. It was just outside of Phoenix and we asked if it was alright and given an ok by management. We picked a spot on the outer edge out of the way and watched a bit of TV and went to be for the night....We were one of only two RV's there when we went to sleep....
We woke up the next morning and there were some of the most "Quartzsite Ready" pieces of******parked all around us along with two tents in the grassy area and a couple pickups with tents or tarps built over the bed for sleeping privacy. A Walmart employee was walking around taking license numbers of all the overnighters. I asked him if there was a problem, we had asked for permission and he told me that no we were fine but they had to police the transients in tents etc or they would be back every night. It was really out of control.

So what you are saying is the people that are the problem could care less and will never see any of these threads.

We stayed in one just last night, it was very quiet; we slept through the night without interruption. We are headed to Hershey, for the RV show, and may sleep at another WM, tonight.

All the Walmart WiFi SSIDs I've seen have been encrypted. Is the signal from Walmart or a business nearby??? If Walmart where have you seen this??
