Move up from the Jay Flight to the Jayco Eagle. We love ours - and are even moving to a designer next. The Eagle will have better everything top to bottom.

Heartland North trail uses all 3,500.lb axles on they units. 3500x2= 6900lbs Newer king slides units have heavier axles=higher gvwr
most rv units go by number of axles and weight ratios on them.

differnt models and sizes can have same or diff. weights by axle ratios

You can look at many, many floorplans from a lot of manufacturers on this website:

RV Manufacturers

For ratings of various models and manufacturers, you might want to look here:

RV Consumer Group

One thing to consider is everyone wants the best quality. But the best quality comes at a very steep price. If you RV on weekends with the occasional 2-week trip every year, a mid-range trailer will serve you well for many years if maintained properly.

A high-end trailer is meant for full-time use. I've considered buying a Sunnybrook 5er, which is a high-end unit. I can get almost the same amenities in another brand of 5er for approximately $25,000 less than the Sunnybrook.

My decision will be based on how long I plan to keep it and what my short and long-range RV needs are going to be.
