At least they cleaned up the place, I have seen people let it fly with no hoses into the small pit and get it all over, then take off, well I am yelling for them to clean up their mess. They just laughed as they drove off. By the way I wasn't pushing them to hurry up. So I am always patient I was a newbie once.

These are the same idiots that pull up to the gas pump, walk inside to get a candy bar, come out and pump the gas, then leave their car at the pump and go back in to buy beer, lotto tickets, chips, and all the snacks necessary for watching the football game when they get home. After they get back in the car, they check the receipt to be sure they weren't overcharged. Then they get back out and wash all the windows. When they notice your angry face, they wonder what is your problem, must be having a bad day. The world is comprised of about 85% morons and there ain't no way to educate them. Gotta live with it.

Man some of you guys need to chill out at the dump station, 5 min to 10 min to dump? Sorry but if you are dumping in 5 min you aren’t doing a very good job of it. I would love to see you guys dump in that time, must be one funny sight to see.

I dump at the camp site haul the tote down and dump it fill the tanks and tote part way with clear water add some bleach load up the TT pack up then head to the dump station for a final dump. This takes me about 15 min. I’m not going to run around looking like the Keystone Cops trying to dump my tanks. If there is a long line I just come home and dump later, gives the bleach more time to work.

I also do not block the dump station when I’m done I pull the rig out of the way then put everything away. If a camper walks away to go wash their hands at the restroom I ask them to pull their rig out of the way first, if they don’t there is not much you can do about it.

Something to think about also, maybe some of these people are new to RVing and aren’t as proficient at dumping as you more seasoned campers.

There is nothing funny or difficult about it. Pull up, hook up, open black, then the gray. Rinse hose and any spillage. Stow hose and drive away.

Couldnt be any more simple. It isnt a time consuming process.

Any in depth tank cleaning/rinsing can be done on your own time someplace where there isnt a line up to use the facilities.

The things that people let bother them. I agree chil out.

To me it souds like a nweby in the class A who was unsure of the process, maybe a little understanding is in order.

Frankly If I want to rinse my tanks at the dump station you will just have to wait.
You peope seem to think that everyone is holding you up on purpose.

They are usually the same (type) person that is ahead of me in the checkout line at the grocery store. They wait until the bill is totaled, then start digging in their purse for their checkbook, proceed to write a book (it seems like) when writing the check, then proceed to enter the check, do their arithmetic, put the check book away then pursue the receipt and finally move on . They have utterly no concern for the other person. You find them everywhere.

My dump station story: we bought a new self contained TC. On our first outing I had to dump so I pulled into the proper spot, got my sewer hose out, took the cap off so I could attach the hose. I doubt I've ever moved so fast. Some "joker"(?) at the factory left the valve open. I didn't see that it was already open because my next step would have been to open the little door that hides the dump valve handle.

I don't think this is about the 15 seconds of time. He waited patently far longer than that.

I got into RV'ing to realx and have fun. I just chill 'til their done. Probably should see if I can help 'em if their having trouble, huh? I dump 150 gallons when full so it takes me about 15 mins to finish everything. Hope I never cause any of you stress. I had to learn the first time too until it became routine. So, now I just sit and wait for the line ahead, no big deal. I'm enjoying this life. How come so many of you get so irrate? In my experience, I'm always the one who loses when I do that. Oh well, happy trails!
