I have been unable to get the sites spell check to work. It does one word then says there is an error and shuts off. I reported it to RV.Net but did not get a reply (twice) over the last couple of weeks.

Most of us don't even use the forum's built-in spell checker, it doesn't work most of the time.

Download IESpell from the link here. The program works great and takes just minutes to download and install. All you have to do is right-click on your post, left click on "Check Spelling" and let the program do it's thing.

Go to www.trailerlife.com and click on the Forums tab. It goes into this forum. Spell check works there, last time I checked.

The spell checker issue has existed for several weeks. I am sorry that I cannot give you a timeline for its repair.

As mentioned above, you may wish to consider a free third party spell checker that many of us on the forum use.

The download link is on the left side of the page.

I always use the spell check. I too have noticed it was down. You can cut and paste your message into a work document. Make the changes and post it to your reply. I have done that in the past and it is much quicker.

Firefox 2 and 3 now include built-in as-you-type spell checkers. When you don't spell it right, a red line will show up under it. Right click on the bad word and a list of possible words shows up. Click on the right word and it puts it in place of the bad word.

Use the portal at "Coast to Coast" forums (it's the same RV.NET). Not only does the spell check work but there is less down time and no distracting animated ad's.
