First of all - this Dometic is not on the recall list. We usually have 2-3 weeks between camping trips with the TT. I store it at home and keep it plugged in to maintain the battery and run the dehumifier.

Question: Is it OK to keep the fridge running to keep the food and beverages ready for the next trip -OR- should I unload the fridge and turn it off until the next trip?

Thanks for your feedback.

Mine gets turned on in the Spring and off in the Fall.
Might not work for everyone but it does for me.

mine stays on months at a time some summers. Other times it gets turned on/off every couple weeks. The fridge is the one thing that has never given me trouble in ANY of my TTs.
