I don't know if you'd call it home made or a gizmo, but we have some booze cartons under the dinette/bed with the seperations for bottles. Works out great for our canned goods and extra soda etc.

Hmm, considering that the whole thing is DIY it's hard to say.... the most useful has been the bed/table/storage box/seats though
The map shows the states my wife and I have driven (or camped) in together.

The whole inside, wiring, comfort innovations, etc. After 14 years, I think I have it just about where I want it.

The new bed cushions are my favorite. Our bed was much too hard, so we bought a piece of memory foam, had it cut to the size of our bed pieces, then I covered them with some cheap fabric. They make the bed much more comfortable. And, since they are cut smaller I can wash them in the bathtub.
My spouse also put in a laptop table that's mounted on a flexible gooseneck pipe. This allows us to move the laptop out of the way if when we're climbing in and out of our seats, and to tilt it to just about any angle to eliminate sun glare.
The other mod that did was a padded shelf built over the cab area. However, we have NO talent, so we had a customizer make the shelf for us.

Well, haven't done much myself, but one little mod has made a world of difference. We never used the microwave, so I took it out and put in a shelf in the middle of the microwave space. Now, instead of storing a loaf of bread and stale tortilla chips in the microwave, we have two shelves of available space for six plastic boxes of assorted toiletries and sundries. They are kept in place with spring-loaded curtain rods that do not even have to be removed to access the various boxes.
I am so darn proud of that one little piece of wood, stained and finished to match the maple interior. It looks like original equipment.
