How is US Hwy 90 Del Rio to Marathon? Plenty of Gas/Diesel? Road conditions, anything to watch out for or should I take I-10 out of San Antonio going to Big Bend.

I don't have any specific information, but a few years ago when I was planning to take that route from San Antonio to Big Bend, a couple of San Antonio locals warned me off it --- said take I-10 instead. Things may have changed since then.
We ended up staying a few days at "Lost Alaskan" park in Alpine (nice park) exploring Davis mountains area (visit the observatory for sure!) then at the RV park in Study Butte (forget the name --- behind a motel --- barely adequate) while at Big Bend.
Plan several days at Big Bend --- awesome park. Make sure to take the hike up the canyon ("Santa Helena"???) along the Rio Grande on the west end of the park. Beautiful hike.

US 90 is a lot more interesting drive than I-10. 2 lane but has good wide shoulders. I have driven it several times and don't recall any issues with fuel availability, just watch your gauge and fill before leaving Del Rio. Make a point of stopping at Langtry, where Judge Roy Bean did his justice bit, and at Seminole Canyon, where the rangers give a guided tour down to the cave dwellings. Both are very interesting and right along the route. Decent RV park in Sanderson which would give you a comfortable one trip into the park.

ditto to Langtry, Seminole Canyon and Sanderson.
Marathon has fuel and a little mom and pop rv park if you want to get closer to the turn off down to Big Bend.
Big Bend has a gas station in the park, but high priced.
Terlingua has fuel.
Roads are all good, two lane with wide shoulders.

I have never had a problem on 90 and plan to drive it again in a few weeks in route to Big Bend.
On your way out of the Park, try and plan a night at Marfa to see the lights. Very interesting.....

Go for it Stagecoach. Typical Texas highways, better than most anywhere in the US. As said don't pass up Langtry and the Roy Bean Museum, very interesting, 60 or so mi. West of Del Rio. Always heard about buying fuel at Sanderson, supposed to be cheap. Nothing but Jackrabbits and Tumbleweeds, same as on I-10 + you're already saved 60mi. when you get to Marathon.

Been on that route several times. Gas is cheaper in Sanderson than Alpine or Marfa.

Another vote for fuel in Sanderson. It is generally the same price or cheaper than at the Wal Mart in Del Rio. Fuel is generally more expensive on I-10 than on 90. 90 is a much nicer drive and has more services than I-10. 90 also has zealous speed enforcement, so watch for those "reduce speed ahead" signs.

No problems with fuel at any place along US90.
What hasn't been mentioned is the pace of traffic along US90 as compared to I-10.
The speed limit along I-10 in far west Texas is 80mph and the 18-wheelers take advantage to "clean the soot out of their stacks".
It's not uncommon to find them running 90 in the straight-a-ways.
Problem comes when they sail by at the high speeds. The drafting effect will sure as heck get your attention to the point you'll think you're headed for the bar ditch.
The places to stop are numerous, enjoy and stay off of I-10.
You won't regret it.
