Hamburger Quiche is really good. I think this is the recipe that I use. I don't have a "quiche pan", so I just used a pie pan.

Hamburger Quiche Recipe

Prep Time: 30 minutes

Baking Time: 40 minutes

Ingredient List:

1-pound hamburger, thawed
1/4 cup finely chopped sweet or yellow onion
1/2 c. mayonnaise
1/2 c. milk
1 Tablespoon cornstarch
1 teaspoon salt
4 eggs
1-1/2 cups shredded medium cheddar cheese

Kitchen Equipment Needed

Frying pan
12" quiche pan, sprayed with cooking spray

Instructions:

Step 1: Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

Step 2: Crumble and brown hamburger meat, drain off extra fat. Cool slightly.

Step 3: In a large bowl, stir together the mayonnaise, milk, cornstarch, salt and eggs.

Step 4: Spray quiche pan with cooking spray.

Step 5: Evenly spread out the crumbled hamburger on the bottom of the quiche pan.

Step 6: Sprinkle the cheddar cheese evenly over the hamburger.

Step 7: Pour the egg and milk mixture evenly over everything.

Step 8: Bake for 35-40 minutes until the quiche is golden brown and set in the center.

This hamburger quiche recipe serves 6.

I made mine like this when I was counting carbs. I have also seen recipes where you pour a similar mix onto a pastry shell. Here's an example from doing a quick search...

1 Pound Ground Beef
2 Large Eggs, slightly beaten
1/2 Cup Mayonaise or Salad Dressing
1/2 Cup Milk
1 Cup Shredded Sharp Cheddar Cheese
1 Tbsp. Watkins Onion Granules
1 Unbaked 9-inch Pastry Shell
Watkins Ground Beef Seasoning, to taste

Brown ground beef in a large skillet, sprinkle with Ground Beef Seasoning (about 1/2 tablespoon, or to taste). Stir until beef crumbles; drain and set aside. Combine eggs, mayo, and milk in a large bowl; stir well. Stir in reserved ground beef, cheese, and Onion Granules. Pour mixture into pastry shell. Bake, uncovered, at 350 F for 30-35 minutes or until set and lightly browned. Let stand 5 minutes before serving.

My mom used to make a cheeseburger pie, that was topped with mashed potatoes then cheese.

How about meatloaf? Oven porcupines (meatloaf with rice in it, baked with a tomato sauce over the top), Tamale Pie (chili, with corn, kidney beans, etc, topped with jiffy cornbread mix) Swedish meatballs, Italian meatball sandwiches, etc...

I think I could go on all day....

This one was from Kraft Foods. I've made it several times. And, have also, a couple times, substituted biscuit dough (from Bisquick) for the pizza crust dough. Cheaper, for one thing, & actually, I think I prefered it.

Bacon Cheeseburger Roll-Up

25 minTotal Time:

Makes 6 servings
1 lb. lean ground beef
4 slices OSCAR MAYER Bacon, chopped
1 small onion, chopped
1/2 lb. (8 oz.) VELVEETA Pasteurized Prepared Cheese Product, cut into 1/2-inch cubes
1 pkg. (13.8 oz.) refrigerated pizza crust
HEAT oven to 400°F.
Brown ground beef with bacon and onions in large skillet on medium-high heat; drain. Return meat mixture to skillet. Add Velveeta; cook until melted, stirring frequently. Cool 10 min.

UNROLL pizza dough onto baking sheet sprayed with cooking spray. Press into 15x8-inch rectangle; top with meat mixture. Roll up, starting at one of the long sides. Rearrange if necessary so roll is seam-side down.

BAKE 20 to 25 min. or until golden brown.

Layer bottom of a baking dish with 1/4 inch thick layer of ground beef, cut up zucchini, onions, potatoes, and carrots and spread over the top, cover with tomato sauce or stewed tomatoes and cook in the oven at 350 45-60min.

We like Porcupine Meatballs.
1-1/2 lb ground beef
1 cup (uncooked) Minute rice
2 TBSP dried onion bits
1 Lg can Hunts tomato sauce

Mix meat rice and onion well and form 6 meatballs. Brown on all sides in large skillet. Pour tomato sauce over all the meatballs slowly to dampen all sides. Cover with lid, reduce heat to med-low and simmer until done. It usually takes about 30 minutes on our electric stove at home. If you are tempted to remove the lid while cooking use tongs to turn meatballs. Add 5 minutes of simmer for every time you remove the lid.
Note: The uncooked minute rice and dried onion absorb all juice/grease from the hamburger while cooking. When you serve, spoon the tomato sauce over them as otherwise they are dry.
Serve with: Mashed potatos. (Betty Crocker Herb and Butter work well if you do not want to make from scratch)
Green beans. If you do not have fresh used canned or frozen but be sure to add a tsp of dried onion bits and a TBSP of bacon bits to them while cooking. Even the imitation bacon bits work as a decent flavoring.
Dang!!! now I am hungry for em.

juice then add 1 pound of velveeta cheese. Stir on medium heat to

keep from scorching cheese til its melted. Serve with tostida
