Sorry, I just can't pick only one. I have one of each of these items in the RV as well as in the stick house!

Love my tongs with the silicon coating on the tips. I can use them in a pan and not worry about sharp edges scratching the pan. The silicon is also heat resistant, so I can use the same tongs on the grill.

My silicon basting brush. Great of applying BBQ sauce or to butter the top of bread before baking. Can stand high heat, never looses it's shape and is dish washer safe!

My instant read thermometer. Great for roasting meats or grilling.

My garlic press. It's just a simple, one-hinge design but works great and is easy to clean.

My pocket knife. Cheese? sliced. Pepperoni? sliced. Gutted? Done. Shave? done. Fire, maybe. Seriously.

At home? My coffee grinder. But we are not talking home.

mine would be the Pampered chef"s
side rim can opener..no sharp edges and you can use the can top as a lid for the opened can. Its pricey,(probably about 25.00) but does a great job..I love electric can openers, but they don't seem to last me. Dona

I can't live without my timer on a rope. People think I have weird taste in jewelry. I have one at home and one in the camper.

AAARGH! I can't pick just one.

My little chopper that fits on the blender base. It makes salsa, chops herbs, blends spices also love my collapsible mixing bowls and Mexican juicer. Sorry, but I couldn't just decide on one. Lindy

I have to agree. The microwave makes things simple. I cook at home and just reheat.
