Lambrusco comes first to mind. Most liquor stores should sell it.
If you are near any Aldi stores that sell beer/wine, they have a good inexpensive one.
If you are into visiting wineries, most of the small local wineries seem to make wine that is sweeter. We've had really good luck finding sweet red wine at these places.
Other than Lambrusco, sweet red wine is pretty hard to find at most liquor stores - but you might come across a sweeter red in the German wine section. You'd have better luck at a major warehouse type store...

You always drink the white first, then the red - but only when wine tasting. Light to heavy.
When actually consuming glasses of wine - may I suggest you NEVER mix the two? I did that last year in March, and REALLY regretted it! I was so sick and I'm a wine drinker.

I tried to do a search, but it's too difficult because of LONG posts.

OOPS! Forgot to answer the original post.
I really enjoy Bogle Petite Syrah. It's a little sweet and you can usually get it on sale for 9.99.
Other than that - I can only say this - go to a good Port wine after dinner. Port is a dessert wine and very sweet. I don't know where you reside, but there is an AZ Winery that makes Kokopelli wines - and their Sweet Lucy is the most popular and I understand its very good.
Cheers!

If you are looking for a sweeter wine with health benefits, try a Muscadine wine. The Muscadine wine I saw the other day said it was a semi-sweet (I've also seen some that said they were sweet). It is reported that Muscadine wine have high levels of resveratrol, which is what you are looking for heart wise. Some cardiologist recommend 1 or 2 glasses of red wine a day (mine does ... thank goodness .. LOL).

Try the OAK LEAF at Wal-Mart. It is made in California for Wal-Mart. You can only get it at Wal-Mart. Here in Yuma it is only $1.97 a bottle. Other places it is $2.97 a bottle.
