We are leaving for Disney next week. It's been several years since we've been and I don't always trust Mapquest. What is the best way to get there after I leave I-75 South at exit 328?
Thanks

I don't know if I'd doubt MapQuest or GoogleMaps on this one.....there are so many people who use it, it's probably updated on a daily basis! At the least, compare the two.
I'm also sure that you'll see about.....85,000 signs with directions by the time you get close!
Have a great trip!

You won't get lost. Follow the Disney exit signs off I-75 and then the signage for the Magic Kingdom.
Once headed toward Magic Kingdom you'll want to look for the signs for Ft Wilderness (are you camping?).
If going to FW, make sure you're in the lane second from the right when approaching the big welcome arch over the road. The furthest right lane is for busses only.
You'll need to be in that right lane because the FW turn-off is immediately after passing through that entrance.
FW will be a mile or so down that road on your left.

You want exit 328 off I-75 where you pick up Florida's Turnpike south. Then exit 259 to I-4 West to exit 64A to rte 192 then right into Disney complex. Florida's Turnpike is toll but I think there is only one toll booth. Have a nice vacation!

Thanks. I would love to camp but fuel is so high right now it is going to be quite a bit less expensive to stay in the All Stars Motels on site.
I once saw Mapquest send a friend of mine almost 40 miles off track to get to his destination before I told him a better route. That's why I don't always trust it.

When we lived in Ocala, FL on I-75, we learned the way the locals go to Disney.
I-75 south to Florida Turnpike, then exit 289 onto US 27 south.
Then take US192 into Disney, following signs from there.
You avoid I-4 with this route.

We spent 2 weeks there May 2007 and had a wonderful time. We were coming down from Ocala area. Came down the 75 to the turnpike (left hand entrance onto turnpike), if I remember correctly. Get off on the 429, then get off exit 8 - Western Way. Make left on Buena Vista then almost immediately left on World drive. Once on World drive stay in your far right lane to enter the park and make a right at first street after the gates to MK. This is Vista Dr to Fort Wilderness (on left). We found this route to work great and hardly any traffic which is great since we are 40' MH with tow. Have fun....

If you Google Disney All Star motel, their site doesn't provide a map? Strange.

Follow the 27S to 192 way. You will exit right onto Disney main road off of 192 and follow the signs to All Sports. I-75 S to turnpike about 7 miles exit onto 27 S about 18 miles to 192 about 7 miles to Disney Main road entrance. I live there and this route keeps you off I-4 which is a mess at certain times of the day. Today Sunday I started back to PA on I-4 and it was pretty heavy traffic. A truck towing a travel trailer on the W side jackknifed and wrecked. Hope no one was hurt. Agree with you, Google, Mapquest, and Streets and Trips have given us some stupid directions, I always double check the paper maps.
