Simple snack or meal idea.. Don't know why I didn't think of this before. some years ago wife and I wanted something for a light lunch while car traveling.. We took a can of salmon, drained it at home,, packed in some good crackers, sliced cheese and onion ,, oh yea,, my favorite mustard.. We found a road side park and made lunch, take a cracker, put mustard on it, some onion, slice of cheese and fork on some salmon and eat it.. have tried it with canned tuna, but it doesn't work as well.

Good combination, to me anyway.. I use it here at home sometimes and put on pricked olives and cracked pepper and have a small glass of wine.. if there is any left over I can make up salmon patties and fry them up for a sandwitch next day.

Wife makes Salmon salad instead of Tuna salad, mixes hard boiled eggs
along with pickled relish, onion, mayo and salt and pepper along with a little sugar, anyway just like you would Tuna except use salmon, eat with crackers or on bread,
