You've hit my Weak Spot.

If it's Maine, Lobster Roll
If it's Philly, Cheese Steak 'wit'
If it's Lancaster (PA) Stoltzfus Ham loaf - and/or sausage Oh...and Raspberry or Peach Bread!
NJ Shore? Salt water Taffy, fudge and kettle corn.
If it's the Ohio/Kentucky Border - Gold Star 5-way
Maryland? Crabcakes of course!
And in Crisfeld MD? Smith Island Cake!
Virginia? A BIG breakfast with plenty of thick sliced bacon!
Or how about seafood pizza in Urbanna VA?
Cape Cod? Seafood, and something with blueberries or cranberries in it!

Yea, I'd love to eat my way across America......
Need to figure out ways to burn it off quicker though!

"Most sought after comfort food in travel"?

Any dinner at someone else's RV when another RV'er invite's us over to share. Good food, good conversation, meet new friends, when we're finished we offer to help clean up which we're alway's told, "Oh heaven's no", then we go home fed, watered, ready for bed and no kitchen to clean up. Boooyahhhhhh!!!!!!

Happy camping!!! See ya'll down the road!!!

While driving through Maryland, even a typical truck-stop prepares a mean Crab-Cake......It must be the water...

A good burger and fries at a local Brew Pub would be my perfect comfort food.
Not the healthiest but some times you just got to do it.

Ice-Cream!!!!
I could never have it tenting. Well, I could but I was to lazy to pack the dry ice to make it stay frozen.
Pizza!!! The kind I can just pop in the microwave.
My B feels so luxurious!!! Had it almost 3 years...still love it tremdously.
I don't eat out that much...but I like to. Guess I need traveling partners for that to be fun.
Those crab cakes and sea foods make me want to go to the coast soon....just for that .

For yummy goodies to eat in the van while traveling I like to stop at Crackerbarrel. Love those chocolate malted milk balls and also the all chocolate Necco wafers

Cracker Barrel has all the comfort food but on the road, I desire Mexican dishes.
I especially like enchiladas!

All food is comfort food, but in any town I look for places that can prepare a thick, rare steak, fresh sushi and a crisp tossed salad with quality bleu cheese dressing (and chunks of bleu cheese).

Real spumoni to top off the feast is an added benefit.

Oh, yea, the coffee's a factor, also.

If they offered boondocking in the parking lot... *grin*
