Which one would YOU buy?
I am considering the two coaches above. Both 2008 models. Cannot decide which one I like better. Please let me know what you think about the two coaches and the two brands. Thank you so much for your help.

TourMaster hands down. It is a higher class coach then the Providence. And Gulf Stream is still doing good, even with this economy while the other has gone belly up. Things to consider.

A 2nd vote for the TourMaster. I wouldn't own another Fleetwood if it was given to me, after buying 4 consecutive Fleetwood failures, between 1997 and 2003.

While there are other coaches out there..the TourMaster offers a lot of glitz but beware slide leaks....but if was TourMaster vs Fleetwood...sorry Fleetwood....TourMaster--there isn't a dealer that has one with 8 hours of my home.

Well, here we go again. I've owned 3 FW's in the last 5 years, and no problems to speak of, w/any. Now as you can see by my sig, what we bot. When we looked at the Tour Master, we both, at the same time, said we couldn't believe how cheaply it was constructed. If you're 5'3" tall, try to reach up into the fridge. PLUS, we didn't like the idea of a MB diesel. Happy hunying, Robbie

I had an '03 Providence in a rental fleet which ran up 75K miles on it. I can honestly say it held up very well, so would not hesitate to buy another one.

It's my opinion that Gulfstream is a good looking coach -- flashy, but NO substance.
A friend has a Tourmaster, and the particle board used to construct the bottom of the slides is already rotting out. (It's an '07 Tourmaster)
The slide rollers are mounted to the body of the coach, and roll on unreinforced areas of the slides, resulting in fractures of the particle board.
This is one example of hidden construction shortcuts taken by Gulfstream that will cost $$$$$ to repair later.

This guy is a joke! Check both coaches side by side and you will see that the Providence is a cheaply made coach in comparison to the TourMaster. Check the cabinets on both coaches, the TourMaster uses fine cherrywood construted by Amish people which do nothing but fine work. While the Fleetwood uses the paper wrapped false wood. The only well constructed coaches that Fleetwood put out are the American coaches as far as I am concerned. But the Providence is in the entry level vs those American coaches.

The "joke" here. Well RayChez baby, take a look at Fuzzyfaces post. Oh, BTW, we drove and compared both. Now to add fuel to the fire, we tried, and didn't like the Newmar Dutch Star either. To each his own.
Opps, forgot to mention the Tiffin Phaeton. Tried it too, still bot the FW, and STILL no problems w/the NON Amish construction. BTW, whats a "Scenic Cruiser" ? Robbie, former combat MARINE, AKA - "The Joke"
