I know Lance specifies white and clear Geocel for Lance camper resealing. I am assuming the products may be less expensive when purchased from somewhere other than a Lance dealer. Can you direct me to a source of supply? It appears Geocel makes a number of products. How do I know which one to purchase if I am not purchasing using the Lance part numbers?

Thanks and happy camping!

I got specific types from Lance or the forum and then Googled. Bought directly from Geocel people.

Our roofing supply co carries the geocel product line. It appears to be the same stuff in a different labled tube. It was about 1/3 less. My Lance dealer was cheaper than CW. Cw is not a cheap place to buy stuff, just convienient as they have it all under one roof. You can always beat CW by a big margin if you look around. When I bought my fantastic fan I went to CW to see if they would price match. They said they could not buy it for what I paid.

I recently bought Geocel... 2 white tubes and 1 clear tube sealants from Lance factory. I bought from them for several reasons.

1) Sealants have a shelf life (Lance uses tons of it... always the freshest)

2) My purchases might help Lance stay in business... I might need them some day.

3) I paid about $8/tube... 3 tubes will about do your camper... I can aford them

4)Lance has been good to me... but then about everyone is good to me.

I looked at my receipt... they were $7.70/tube.

Good luck

Thanks. My Lance dealer (Curtis Trailer in Portland, OR) does not carry the Lance sealant, which seems strange. But I found some at another local RV dealer. The Lance dealer told me that they use something called flexpro instead of the Lance recommended product.

Anyway, I am all set so thanks and Happy Camping.

Clear does a neater job around black window frames, but it seems to me the white holds up longer. I've stopped using clear.

Not to change the subject of this post completely, but, is there some kind of sealant softener that makes it easier to remove the old stuff before resealing?

The white Geocel I purchased from my Lance dealer yellowed in the sun. Anyone else have that problem?
So I switched to Dicor 20/20 or 10/10 or something like that. No Yellowing so far.
