I heard a big bang close to Toad River Lodge on the Alaska Highway.
Pulled over, checked everything around truck and camper but saw noting unusual.
At night at a campsite I checked the bugs up front on on the camper and wondered what that big black 1 inch bug could be......well it turned out to be a hole in the outer shell of the camper. Put tape on it to keep water out.
On the drivers side just behind and above the cab.
What kind of stuff should I use to fix this hole ?? (Lance 992)
(I hate to think what the damage would be when riding a motorcycle and that rock would hit your head...lots of motorcycles on the Alaska Highway these days!)

I used fibreglass reapir kit when it happened to my Adventurer. If the camper had been newer i would have had a boat place do it.
You didn't happen to spot my brothers group did you? He was leading a bunch of vintage bentleys on a trip to Anchorage & back.

Well, depending on where it is you can do a couple different things:
Get the fiberglass kit as recommended above
Get a small rectangular piece of flashing sheet metal from Home depot (Its like 8x12), cut it to fit over the hole, paint it, then put a nice bead of adhesive sealant on the back of it and screw it up in place.
Not perfect, but I did something similar when I punched a softball sized hole in the center of the skirt on the rear of the camper by forgetting to unhook th safety chains on the boat once and yanking it forward and down a driveway into the back of the camper.

You should be able to find a fiberglass repair kit at a hardware or marine supply store. The kit will contain some fiberglass cloth and two-part resin mix. It is best from an appearance viewpoint to make the repair from the back side if you can. Mix the resin and spread some around the hole, then lay a piece of the cloth over it so that the resin saturates the edges surrounding the hole. After the resin hardens apply more resin. That will hold it until you can get home. A fiberglass repairman should be able to apply a finish coat of fiberglass when you get home if you don't want to do it yourself. You can also use Bondo to fill in the hole over the fiberglass backing. That can be smoothed and sanded to match the surface contour and then painted.

Ok, thanks guys for the suggestions.
I think I go to a boat place to get it fixed.

I did see one vintage car pulling a vintage camper trailer, but I don't know if it was a Bentley.
I am preparing to get ready for another trip up north, this time I'm going west of Prince George and I'm taking the Cassiar Highway and come back through Fort Nelson. Not sure when we leave. There are sure a lot of truck campers on the roads up north this year!
Btw, watch out for these guys up there:

I made this photo through my truck door window, he/she was walking right next to us.

No picture, sorry it didn't happen. Remember the big bang is just an expensive theory.

I'd cut a patch out of my favorite beer can and screw it over the hole (with a goodly amount of sealant underneath, of course). Then I make up a good story to go with it (you've got a great start already: "There I was rollin' down the Alaska highway, mindin' my own business, when all of a sudden........". Be sure to tell about how you made a road-side repair while fighting off those vicious Alaska mosquitoes. You could get a lot of mileage out of that hole.

Two Alaskan mosquitos flew away with my barbecued steak.
I hate that when that happens!

Was it an oncoming truck or were you behind one? I've seen DRW pickups as well as semi trucks throw big rocks like that. And it's scary.
