We spent our first 2 week session in the B, bumming around Colorado and Utah. At the beginning, we wondered how long it would take before we cracked and spent a night in a motel, but we never got tired of being in the B. We alternated between boondocking and sites with electric - so we could charge the batteries and change the water in the tank - and it was on of the best vacations we've had: no set plans or destinations, and we camped in some neat off-the-road sites.
The newly installed sit-down shower worked great, and we never felt cramped.
We put about 4200 miles on the B, and we're ready to head out again in August.
I'll upload some images.

Excellent Photos! I've spent many a day tooting around the Grand Lake Area. We hope to get up that way this September. SW

Thanks for sharing the great photos. We have a B and it is the only way we want to go....where and when we want!! The longest out for us has been about 2.5 months, but it was super. Don't think I have ever heard of anyone not liking the B's...especially today with the gas prices and our mileage versus the big boys. Safe travels.

You missed some of the best parts of Colorado, it appears, but then there's just that much more to look forward too when you head back, right?

The trip was very nice and an eye-opener for us.

I don't know Vern: We have hundreds of photos of different places (didn't think you wanted tham ALL posted!), but if you have any suggestions about must-see locations, we'll definitely put them in our agenda for the next trip *grin*.
We're actually looking at Salida as a retirement town.

Since we started traveling in our PW Excel 3 plus years ago, we have usually stayed in a motel after 7 to 10 days of camping. We have taken trips up to 7 weeks long. However, lately we have not used motels as much because of the hassle of carrying clothes, toiletries, etc., into a motel room.
By the way, how did you insert the pictures into your post?

Pictures are beautiful, and so clear and bright..... makes me want to go back to Colorado.
What is your "sit-down shower" or did you post about it sometime back and I missed it? Sounds of interest.
