Anyone have DC outlet(s) installed in coach? If so, do you find useful?

edit to add: are the outlet(s) off house or chassis battery?

I have 5 DC outlets scattered throughout the coach powered off the house battery. A couple are for the TV. One is on a 30 amp circuit so I can run 110 volt power tools off an inverter. Another is in an outside compartment for topping up the air shocks with a 12 volt compressor. And finally, one is mounted outside on the curb side so I can plug in a fluorescent light for reading outside at night. We use all of them quite a bit.

I put four duplex 12v fixtures in my DIY. One always powers the Engel fridge. The others see use here and there as phone chargers et al. I have provided 12v power to others on occasion.

You do get about 10% more efficiency if you don't run the power through an inverter. Would not matter for most people but my dc fridge is my major watt eater.

Many fixtures are rated for just a few amps. Mine are came from West Marine and can handle more watts than the basic ones.

I have a 12v outlet mounted beside the bed. I use it to power a CPAP machine. Only thing is that if AC goes off during, CPAP does not, and doesn't wake me up.

We will be adding a 12v "charging station" to our 07 190P as soon as we get our removeable armoir. I will tap into the fuse box that is right above the armoir and make holders for our rechargeables on top of the armoir.
