Did you ever wonder just how effective Bounce dryer sheets were on getting bugs off a TC? We did a partial clean half way through our close to 9,500 trip just completed. This is what the camper looked like when we got home.

Wet the area to be cleaned well. Dunk a bunch of used Bounce dryer sheets in a bucket of warm water. Gently rub over the bugs. Rinse well. Saves a lot of elbow grease and nasty chemicals.

Truck and camper are cleaned and ready to be mated back up again. Just as we started to do so, a big thunderstorm rolled in so down went the camper on its legs and we'll wait out the lightning. Nice to have it so clean again.

They are good for most bugs. A few we picked up on a trip to Nebraska required soaking and light scraping. I have some "Rejez" was that claims to be so slick that the bugs will not stick. I have yet to try it.

Thanks for the testimonial!

I've always thought the dryer sheets were just an old wives tale.
You camper really got hit hard with bugs. I guess there IS some truth in those dryer sheets. Just might try them out!

I bet those bugs will not have the guts to hit the TC again.

It will not work on Alaskan mosquitos.
They will get angry and fly away with your camper and leave you to drive home the truck.
