Yes, I've read about that. Saw that G-Map also has an app for 35.00--can choose between East or West-has voice. Says it's "on sale."

Glad Tom Tom is not going to follow the AT&T method. Now if it works when you are out of range unlike the AT&T one I'll be sold once I get an iPhone. Just waiting to see how the new ones hold up before I jump in, old phone needs replacing.
