I didn't know either, and I went to the factory and ordered mine in 2006. Wish I would have asked. Course when they asked where I lived I told them the Mojave desert "Fort Irwin"

I never even saw one of those. My wife and I saw the CR sitting on the lot and that is the one we took. The only option I had installed was an inverter.

When I got my trailer, I ordered it exactly how I wanted, and scrutinized the order form closely, then asked for some extra feet (which is how I ended up with a 41' bumper pull). Too bad I didn't ask for heavier frame rails

I have a 2009 WW FSC2800 that has the heated tank option. You can't see the tanks underneath because they are enclosed in a steel sided box that has a wood bottom covered with a black plastic water shield. Sidenote: I've had a problem with the plastic sheeting ballooning up with air as I have gone down the road, which has torn the plastic around the edges and a vent opening right in the middle of the enclosure. It appears the factory used a spray adhesive between the plastic and wood floor to try and keep it from filling with air, but the adhesive is not strong enough to hold; putting all the stress around any screwed in edges. I think this will be an ongoing problem until I tear it apart myself and fix. So far, I've had to go underneath and try and fix the torn plastic sheeting around the metal vent opening. (see picture below) Anyway, this vent is right in the middle of the tank enclosure floor and appears to go up inside the trailer to the back of the fridge area. Is this opening to vent heat from the fridge or is it part of the tank heat system? And, how exactly does the tank heat system work?

I have no vents under mine. It just has that cloth fabric stapled to the wood below the tank.

Corrugated plastic is what my DuneChaser underbelly is lined with. Very easy to work with and remove for any needed service. Selftappers and fender washers make it a snap to take off and on. Only thing Not enclosed on my trailer is the fuel tanks. Good call on corrugated plastic.

My preference is using Owens Corning Foamular SE250 for insulation with protection from the plastic corrugated sheeting. The OC foamboard has good R-value at 5 per inch with very low moisture retention - they use this foam under concrete slabs! Most of the big box stores stock this foamboard too.
