Not the purtiest or biggest, but it does have a diesel. Ford, Toyota are you listening?

I've been waiting for this truck to come out, and I plan on being one of the first to buy one if they're selling in my area.

A little 4-door, 4WD diesel that gets high 20's for MPG? I don't care how it looks.

Hmm, the interior looks like it would work on a car from 1993, the exterior, well this is a family site so I won't say what I think.

Still, a diesel in a compact truck- if it comes out in time (probably not) and tows enough I just might consider it. If it does well despite its hideous looks maybe it might just convince Toyota, Nissan and the big three that a diesel will sell in more than just the 3/4 ton and above market.

LOL. That thing has about a 4 foot long bed. Not usable for much of anything, and the rear axle all the way at the front of the bed so any weight that goes in the bed gets loaded behind the axle. Terrible design. At least the 2 door one has a normal small truck bed length to it.

What a disappointment. I was actually pretty interested to see what was going to come out of Mahindra. Sadly, I'm let down.

I had hoped for a truck, similar to a Ranger or Dakota, but with a nice small diesel engine, manual transmission (optional auto), manual transfer case (on 4x4 models), and at least 1500 pounds of real-world payload capacity. I didn't hope for it to take top-honors as the ugliest vehicle of all time!

Instead we get someone's marketing study on how to adapt an existing import platform to what they THINK Americans want. They tried their best to built us another Explorer Sport Trak, and it's every bit as useless and a lot uglier.

The only place that thing might find a home is on farms, and even then the useless 4' bed (in exchange for the crew cab nobody asked for) might even turn off farmers.

Ugh.
