Hey all just wanted to thank you for your sound advice for our trip to Savannah (to get our daughter set up in her dorm), we loved Skidaway State Park and camped there in our pop-up for 5 days. Tybee Island was awesome, we spent the day at the beach and had the BEST dinner at The Crab Shack !!!!! I cannot say enough good things about that place and their food.. BTW I have our receipt which is good for $3.00 off your next dine-in meal so it's up for grabs if anyone is going to be in the area before Oct. 13th, it expires then. Will be glad to send it your way, just private message me.

I am glad that you enjoyed your stay in the Savannah area.
There are plenty of great things to do there.
Next time there you might want to try Bernie's Raw bar on River Street.

I must have been there on the wrong night. Everything tasted like it was cooked in the same fish pot. The baby alligators and our dogs got most of our order. However, if you want a big pile of "stuff", the Crab Shack is the place to go.

Hi Folks, we just returned from a sight seeing trip on the Trolley in Savannah, followed by going to Tybee Island, and of course, had to stop at the Crab Shack for supper due to you all's recommendation. It was gooooood !!! We had lunch at the Sixpence downtown Savannah. Y'all are great guys for recommendations!

How can you go to Savannah and not eat at the Lady and Sons. My wife and I actually took a weekend trip in the TT up there just to visit that restaurant. Everything else we learned about Savannah was a nice side note.

Glad you enjoyed your time in Savannah! I noticed you didn't pay attention to the folks around you in Savannah. I fixed your opening sentence for you
