When are you taking off? and where are you planning on going?

For Joey and I, this will be our Sophomore year. Departure hopefully is October 21'st.

Heading down to Texas from MN. Our rough plan is a month outside of San Antonio (is that Hill Country?) then over to Rockport (fishing/beaching) for a month or so. Then down to the RGV (for a month) or so if we get cold in Rockport. Coming back to MN is wide open.

San Antonio, is about 85' above see level, guess that is hill to some, The over passes on the interstate are more hill country than San Antonio.

Leaving early November, heading down to Louisianan for a month or so, then properly out to AZ and Los Angeles for few weeks. Then poke are way home, depending on weather.

I alternate between the East and Gulf Coasts. This year I'll be starting at Foscue Creek (COE) in AL the day after Thanksgiving. After a couple months and several stops I'll be at Goose Island SP in TX and start working my way back north. Last stop is always Hungry Mother SP in VA during mid-March where I watch the weather and wait for the right time to get up the mountain to my home in PA.

The kids caught me in a weak moment last Christmas so we have promised to stay for the Holidays this year. The MH will be loaded and ready to leave after dinner on Dec 25, but we more then likely will head out 1 or 2 Jan. Have reservations in Yuma for two months, may stay longer. Last year we came home in early April, this time we told the kids we may be home by end of May or mid June. After Yuma, we'll let the MH go where ever it wants. Always wanted to see Roswell NM.
Anyone staying at Desert Sands??

Leaving January 9th, just enough time to clean up the Christmas & New Year's crap, get the trailer out of storage, packed and ready to go. We bought 3 months of out of country medical so we won't be back to snow land until April 10th.

Going to Texas Gulf coast in January, RGV for February and part of March then, Louisiana and Mississippi, Natchez trace to Nashville then home.

We are leaving for Florida on Jan. 4th from Mn. This is our first year for snowbirding. We have made reservations in various parts of Florida and plan to stop in Memphis on the way down and Nashville on the way home. We plan to be back in Mar. for our twin grandchildren's first birthdays. We noticed one of you has a cockatoo to bring along. We have a dog, 2 cats and a mulacann cockatoo, all waiting for some nice warm weather this winter.

Our plan is to spend a few days in KC ( family) , Branson ( entertainment) , OKC ( historic) , Fort Worth ( historic) , Austin ( historic + ), San Antonio ( old buddy and we will provide as tour guide ) , Corpus/Rockport or maybe Arroyo ( fishing , sightseeing , family) , then it will be on to the ALAMO !
