We were camping this weekend with a big group of friends. A bunch of the kids were in our camper playing the X-Box while we were at the fire because it was just too cold out (in about the 30's at that time). Normally, the kids aren't allowed to play video games when we're camping, but we make an exception when the weather is bad.
Anyway, all the kids left their shoes sitting outside our camper (wasn't that nice!), and Greg mentioned how we should tie them all together! Soooooooooooo, Greg and another fellow did just that! We adults sat around the campfire snickering at our high-jinks, waiting for the kids to come out. One finally did, and when he went to put his shoes on, well, let's just say he was completely bamboozled! It took him a few moments, and then he opened the camper door and hollered to the kids
THEY TIED ALL OUR SHOES TOGETHER!
The video here shows what happened next . . .

Good clean, family fun! That's what it's all about!

Thanks! As you can hear from the video, the adults thought it was a hoot! I'm thinking this is going to be a rally tradition (shhhhh, just don't tell the kids! LOL)

That was a RIOT!!!! I really look forward to camping with friends & other families when our babies are older...even if their response to such adult hijinx is a laughing "you suck". That was just classic!

I'm gonna have to remember that one for next time. We had 16 kids in my trailer at one time over the past weekend. Can you imagine them coming out to that?? LOL
Thanks for the laugh!

They did mismatch a bunch of them. It would have been too easy otherwise!

I would probably have just waited until all the others found their shoes and what was left would be mine. I'm lazy that way.
