Smokin' Joes in Davis Oklahoma on Hwy 77. Very small place but the BBQ & all the trimmings are delicious. Or Clark's BBQ in Tioga Texas...

I can't vouch for any of them, but
I have a list of Non-chain BBQ places with GPS coordinates.
Can be loaded into Garmin or MS S&T.

Unfortunately, not sure how to attach it to a posting...

Here's a sample of what's in it....

Willies BBQ, Alamo Texas. Kind of a run down Tex-Mex BBQ but delicious.

Sorry, I don't remember the name, but a "shackish" building on the north end of Durango, CO, coming into town from Alpen Rose or the other campground. Delicious!

EDIT: Serious Texas Barbeque, N. Main Ave. They also have a "south" location in Durango.
