You are kidding right? 1972 School buses are still driving around and there are thousands of unsmogged vehicles driving around all over the place. 3rd world countries don't even have smog laws and all you want to do is delete your cat and muffler? You pay your taxes and DMV fees - GO FOR IT!

Don't live in Kaili but do have to deal with the Washington SMOG rules eventually....missing parts will cause you to fail the visual inspection everytime. Snap test can be beaten as can the software side....

I would consider saving your old smog parts as they maybe real expensive to replace when you fail the visual test -that is once BAR and ARB get the testing issues sorted out......it is going to happen at some point....

So I've heard the testing window is 10 years. After that would a bypass be ok?

I am so sick of all the crazy laws being passed here in Kali. You pay such a high price to live here everywhere you turn you pay.

Never the less, My cat was gone anyway and was not about to pay $1200 for a new one just yet. When it is time to smog I guess I will go find one at the point I have to.

Whats next my 87 softail and 09 KTM EXC get smogged? Maybe they should just smog my kids PW50 too... OH I forgot the PW50 is an illegal leaded bike... I am so over the BS!

Yup, my 87 cr500 2-stroker smoker was a green sticker yet my kids four stroke pressure washer motor trophy kart is a red sticker.

Hey -no doubt the State of Kali is running amuck....we are not far behind the curve in FEEL GOOD Politics Washington.

My point was that these programs are designed to catch visual changes and it doesn't matter whether or not the rig passes the snap test/opacity test and the software signals "all good". A stickler BAR inspector will get you for an out of place hose.....

They are slated to be smogged in 2010 or at least that's what people at work are telling me....
