That left front does indeed look like it has been racked, suffering from a case of inept body work. Has the driver's door been knocked out of alignment with the body panels. As one who regularly drives a van of the same dimensions toting 10-14 apprentices to job sites throughout the city, I can tell you I am some glad when we reach our destination, cramped driver's footwell, top heavy as hell, bobbing like a cork on the beltway make for a very uncomfortable ride. I think a leaf spring Excursion would sure provide a much more comfortable ride.
How did this topic of changing from diesel to gas founder on the world of snorring vans. Somebody going to a soccer game?

I had two 4x4 PSD (7.3 & 6.0 ) Excursions and the 8.1 3500 van rides better than them two and is more stable with the much longer 155" wheelbase. Also the AC is 10x better in hot weather. It sits for months at a time in my driveway and starts instantly everytime. My Excursions had to use the block heater to start in cold weather after sitting for only a few days. I installed Bilstein shocks last year and it rides better than my 4x4 PSD Excursions over rough roads.

Take a look at this (not mine). Think this van is a snoozer?

Make sure your volume is up.
I would take the ride of an E350 (or an Express with Bilsteins) over the ride of an Excursion any day.

Notice Bryan doesn't put down other people's choices to build up his own... A man's van speaks for itself. No mistaking the man's van for a soccer mom's van. That PSD powered van is wicked! I watched it twice!

I think you qualify for a soccer mom without looking any further. With the looks of that soda straw exhaust passing by the new Bilstein, I'm not even sure I believe yours has an 8.1L. Doesn't matter anyhow. Whatever you have is the best and everything else is inferior. Thanks for the laughs!
