We'll be heading out for a quick drive to FL for a wedding.... yeah, it would be cheaper and easier and faster to fly..... but as I was packing extra medications *just in case* one of us picks up a bug on our journey - it got me thinking:
Sick people still fly. Let's face it - if you're not feeling well, the ONE place you want to be is HOME. You will probably load up on medication to make the flight tolerable....but you'll still fly. And you'll still be contagious....

Whenever I make the mistake of touching something that strangers have touched. I do NOT touch me until I've sanitized my hands. You can bet, MH travel makes a lot of sense to me. I have to be careful not to become a recluse...

Yes! And what about the hotels and motels these sick people stayed. Lets not forget the rental car they used. We love Texas and we used to fly there four times a year. Now for the last six years we've had an RV no more flying or hotel/motel and car rentals. Yuk

My sister could never understand why I prefer the moho to a hotel, until I explained to her that I know EVERY SINGLE PERSON who has slept on my bed, when they last showered and when the sheets and blankets were last cleaned. Now she gets it (and is saving up for her own!)

But if you guys never use motels and hotels just think of all the bedbugs you will never get to meet.
Why do people pay to go up tall buildings and then put money in binoculars to look at things on the ground?

And sick people will still be at the wedding, in the reception hall, church, grocery store, and most of all, in the pharmacy where you picked up your "extra meds just in case". I won't even bring up my office! Any confined area or where there are a lot of people can breed germs. Per recent studies, planes are no worse than anywhere else. And one of the worst places to pick up diseases is the handle of a grocery store cart.
Life is too short to spend it all in one place!

If you keep your life too clean, then your immune system won't be as strong. Getting some germs might be a good thing. My wife's mother was a clean freak and my wife never got chicken pox as a kid. Instead she got them when she was an adult. You are much better off getting chicken pox as a kid.
