I need to winterize my KZ Spree 318BHS. I was wondering if anyone here has the same trailer and can tell me how many gallons I should expect to use.

Between two and three gallons WITH a winterizing kit and water heater by-pass system. A little less than double that WITHOUT a winterizing kit and with a water heater by-pass system. Add another 6 gallons or 10 gallons if you don't have a water heater bypass.

Figure on the better part of 2 gallons if your going to pump it throughout and leave it all in, the plumbing in the 324 & 318 snakes around all over the place plus you'll need some for the traps.
I haven't winterized yet, but will after a trip in 2 weeks...my plan is to blow the lines then just run enough pink through to displace the remaining water. Be sure to drain the HWH (pull the anode)
Oh and remember to winterize the black tank flusher and outside shower as well or at least blow them both out.
My outside shower sits under one of the bunks in unheated space and we've allready had a couple sub freezing nights, so I plumbed up a bypass for it so it doesn't freeze and just drained it...
We winter camp so it also serves as a shut off for the shower as well so I don't have to worry about it freezing during those trips when I liven up the water system

I used a little less than 2 gallons on mine. Probably would have used less, but I pumped a bit out the outside shower before I realized that I hadn't turned it off.

Here is another question...what do you guys do about the actual tanks? Right now I have about two gallons in each with some Happy Camper. Do you have to drain those completely too? I have heard that letting the gray and black tanks dry out is a bad idea, and I have not seen anyone say anything about winterizing the tanks themselves. Is there enough expansion room in the tanks to not worry about it?

I think last year I used about 2 gallons.
The bypass for the water heater is already under the cabinets. I don't know of any winterizing kit.
Turn on the pump and get all the water you can out of the tank and lines.
I make sure all the tanks are empty. I then bleed off the water pressure in the HW heater and then remove the anode. I leave this out and open through the winter. I throw the water heater bypass valve and open the take-up valve for the draw for antifreeze and drop the draw tube down a bottle. Then, using the pump, crack each faucet and wait till I see the colored antifreeze come out, then turn off that faucet and crack the next one. The ones you need to do are:
Kitchen Sink, hot and cold.
Bathroom sink, hot and cold.
Bathroom shower head, hot and cold.
Bathroom tub, hot and cold.
Toilet, flush
Outside shower, hot and cold.
And I think you're done. Someone check me if I'm wrong.

I've always drained the black and gray tanks on the last trip out. I've never worried about the residual water in them. There might be a cup or two in each one, but its not enough to worry about freezing. The black tank gets a little antifreeze when I do the toilet, but that gray tanks probably don't get much.
However, if you have two gallons in each, that might be too much.

I would recommend cracking your low point drains when you have the system pressurized with the antifreeze. They are a dead ended part of the hot and cold water system that is usually the low point in the system and even after gravity draining some water can collect there and it hard to determine how much antifreeze might have been mixed with any water that has migrated to those.
I also like to do a quick blow out via the city water connection since that is another dead end so to speak area where water could possibly remain even after a gravity drain. I don't recommend trying to back flush that since some have messed up the one way valve in fiddling with it under pressure.

Two questions;
1) I have a 324 and could not find any low point drains?
2) How do you winterize the black tank flusher if you are not blowing with air?

1) Keep looking you have them. Usually although not always around the dump valves/tires.
2) Blow them with pink. Just use a 12VDC car compressor to blow them out but do blow them out.
Like everyone else a couple of gallons at most, disconnect the outside shower, pull the rod on the WH and hit the bypass(included in all recent KZ's) drop some pink down the traps into the tanks and make sure that the tanks are empty or water before hand as you do not want water up against the dump valves to freeze.
