We have been going to Mexico for our winter vacations for many years. The going rate was approx. $50.00 for wash and wax on a 36' motorhome. This year we decided to go to the RGV and have not been able to find much info on getting our rig done while there. I expect that it will not be as inexpensive as Mexico and hopefully some of you regulars can give us the info on the going rate to wash, wax, ect. Also who and how to contact. Many Thanks

No advice- but I highly doubt that you will get a 36 footer washed AND waxed for $50 anywhere in the states.
If you do, I might just drive there for that kind of deal...lol

LOL kinda strange this ? came up. For several years, I made a visit to Ruidoso and used several parks there for this very thing. In 2007, they were charging 1 dollar per ft for this. I called there the other day, and they have raised their charges to , as stated above, 2-3 dollars per foot, DEPENDING on how many slides you had.
So during my upcoming winter trip to the valley, I called around to several of the parks that I have stayed at, and the going rate is 3 bucks per foot. In addition, most said I had to supply all the product to be used. And lo and behold, I was told the minimum for a 39 footer, would be 125.00 . Go figure.

$100 is about average for wash and wax in the RGV. Dont expect a great job for that price or any price for that matter.

$550.00 is what a friend of mine paid for his 26' RV in Nacogdoches, Texas, a few months ago. That was to include a complete exterior fiberglass renewal. It was dull and was 10 yeras out in the weather.
I have a sweet tender nature, however I enjoy sharing my thoughts and opinions.

You might want to look for a commercial truck wash, I know in Vegas, I was charged 1.00 a foot for washy and .50 a foot for Waxy. Not an detail job but gets the road grit off. Bill
