Here's what I found today. I had tried e-mailing the ODNR with no response, so I phoned. (614) 265-6561 for those who need to know.
I talked to a Jean at the Columbus office of Ohio State Parks. She told me the decision has yet to be made. They are still struggling with the budget. But, at this time, situation normal. The campgrounds will be open as usual. That means most of the shower houses will be closed, but there will be power at the pedestals. NOW, this is subject to change.
She tells me there is no reason to make reservations in the winter as they would not be site specific anyway. NOW, this does NOT mean you shouldn't check on plans for this weekend. Just later in the winter it is not needed. "Save your $8.00." She said.

Thank you for this info. I was wondering what their plan was for this winter and now I know that they don't know.

I checked online last night and I could still reserve specefic sites at Hueston Woods, but couldn't at Stone Lick. A reservation specialist told me over the phone that Stone Lick sites could be reserved by type, but not a specific site in that type could be reserved.
I've never winter camped befor, do Ohip SP cg's really need a reservation?
