Folks I am new to class B RVing. MY class A bit the dust from a lightning surge and GEICO totaled it out. Bought a used high top 1993 Dodge 2500 conversion van in really good shape (I think)low mileage (84000). Will have questions on how to best RV in it. I have had 2 class A's, 3 fifth wheels, 1 tag along and one falcon B in the past. The Conversion van will be used mainly on short trips at times pulling a boat. Have just bought a house in south Florida so will be busy with it for a while.
From looking at the past posts on this site looks like most folks here have full blown class a vehicles.
So.... are there many/any of you folks RVing in a conversion van without all the toys built in?

Not as many as the large rigs, but we are active. A good many of us have downsized from larger rigs for one reason or another. One thing you will find is that B owners seen to be very enthusiastic about B's. Good luck with your new rig, it will take a bit of getting used to but as my wife says,"the good thing about a B is the same thing as the bad thing, the size".

I have a 26.5 ft Trailer and Dodge Truck. Both band new. When this past summer i saw a Very nice Class B unit. My wife and I had the grande tour . We were sold. The following weekend we bought a 2009 PW and now have 10000KMs on it. We love it. This winter we are going south in it to Arizone and area. We really enjoy the smaller size rv. No looking back now.
PS---Truck and trailer still for sale LOL
