Ok there is a dealer that has a Pleasure-way 2009 new Ford Excel TD. MSRP is $87,522. I'm just wondering how much of a discount off the msrp I can normally expect to get? Any opinions on this or what did you get off your new Road Trek/Pleasure-way? I'd like to find out what is reasonable.
Thanks, Don

Summer 2007 I paid $62,000 for a new '07 Ford Excel with the V8 & full body paint. Forgot what the list price was, but thought it was a good deal.

I have recently begun working in the auto sales industry, and we've discussed RV sales quite a bit. One of the people that I work with sold RV's before this auto sales gig. He told me that the markup on RV's is about 30%. So start low and stick to your guns. If they have a lot of old inventory they'll want to deal!

As of right now, Van City in St. Louis has a new 2009 Excel TS on their web-site at $73,063.00. The TD should be a tad less without the electric sofa.

Have you checked out Roadtrek Class B's? You can go to Fretz RV. I know they have a good selection of Class Bs. They also have a good website for information. They are local to me, so I have been going there for years. I recently signed up for their newsletter and was pleased to find coupons and special offers I could actually use.
