All of a sudden our gray tank is not draining.
Does anyone have a suggestion of what is wrong and how the heck can we fix it.
Thanks so much

I'd start with something simple and easy - the vent pipe..go up on the roof and find the vent pipe for the tank that is not draining. Make sure it is not blocked or plugged.

You are going to have to do some looking. When you pull the handle to open the drain, does the drain actually open? The handle may have come loose from the drain.
If the drain DOES open, does ANYTHING come out? If the drain is open and NOTHING comes out, the pipe must be plugged and a plumber's snake may help.
If it trickles, the above post about the vent can be valid. Another cause of trickle is a partial block of the drain pipe and the plumber's snake may help.
More information about the precise symptoms will help us narrow down the problem.

My best GUESS would be that the dump valve needs to be replaced. When the handle comes loose from the flapper valve it doesn't open and nothing drains out. It's a simple job to replace the valve provided you can get TO it but some models seem to have been designed to create business for RV Repair facilities. There is always an outside possibility that you have a grease build up that is blocking the drain but most folks are pretty careful about NOT dumping grease down the drain.

Another thing that can cause slow draining are the plastic scraps pieces made when the drain pipe and vent pipe openings are cut out. Most of the time the pieces fall into the tanks and then can float around and block the opening. If you find that it's not any of the previous problems listed ,try back flushing to dislodge anything that is stuck.

my son's TT did that once, I ran a drain snake up the tube and he had a soap plug in at the exit of the gray tank. broke it up and the water came flying out.
