Maybe I'm just 'out of touch' as of late but what happened to the Jordan 2020 Ultima brake controller? I currently have it on my Dodge Ram and have been very pleased with its performance over the years. I looked into getting one put in my SUV but apparantly it is on hold according to the website.

I have nothing againt the Prodigy (excellent controller) or the Brakesmart (a little more expensive but awesome) but I love my Jordan. Anyone know what the story is?

To the best of my knowledge, Jordan was purchased by Camco and has not yet brought them back to market. No idea if they plan to any time soon.

The last time I talked to Camco, early this year, they said they had shelved the new release because of the state of the economy and the RV outlook in general...

They made no committment as to when, or even "if" the Jordan would ever appear again

I bought a brand new in the box Jordan from BarneyS our Towing Forum Moderator last year so I'm a "happy camper" and now have a brand new spare

My Jordan died and I replaced it with a MaxBrake. Works smoother than the Jordan is a little less $$$$ than the Brake Smart.

My Jordan quit working on a trip this summer, in Salem Oregon. There's no service for the thing, so I just went on down to Eugene Oregon at Camping World and got a P-3 which works fantastic! It works even better than my Jordan did when it was working. The P-3 had a straight plug in to my 99 Dodge harness, and I had it installed, litterally in 10 minutes. I've been converted.

Wow, I would have never guesed that any company would put a rather successful design away. Thanks for all of the replies.

Like btd35 stated, the P3 is plug-and-go controller with minimal fuss and I have NEVER heard anyone say a bad thing about it.

Since I have winterized for the year, I probabily won't be making any decision until spring. Maybe by then, I will have won the lottery and bought a new truck, new trailer, new...

I would not even begin to compare the Jordan or MaxBrake with the Prodigy. The Jordan was in a tier well above the Prodigy.

Sounds like a fair comparison to me.
