Fresh air will take care of it. Open your windows, vents and door and air it out. Nest time out, open the windows while you drive for a few miles.
Do what you normally do, it will go away.
If you have a spare $75, get a room-sized air purifier and let it run a few days inside when this happens. We travel with one and it doesn't "perfume" the air with scents, just cleans it.

I've cleaned everything well and even sprayed Fabreze on the carpets, upholstery, and lambrikens but the odor comes back. Maybe I should open up all the windows during the day and see if that helps. It's already getting cold here. Days in the upper 40's and nights in the low 30's. Help!
Try making soft tacos. Heat the tortillas over the open flame on the stove. No smell and unlike the hard shell ones they don't fall apart when you bite into them.

I agree - I do that at home to save calories, so will do that next time. DH says it goes against his purist Mexican heritage to eat a store bought taco shell.
That is where I do them, at home. I've never done tacos camping. I do it to save calories, avoid a mess and just because they taste good that way. I have yet to taste a premade taco shell that I like.

Sell it, only option left! Try baking some cookies, that always makes the house smell good.

Lesson learned. We too cook everything in it. Most anyway, except for bacon. Partly because I don't want to have to deal with the bacon grease.

Just an update to everyone who responded - I went out to the TT after its having sat now since October 26 and an thorough cleaning. The smell of the old cooking oil is gone completely and it smells new again. I didn't do anything special or even open the windows since it's been cold here and I just kept forgetting to do it on the weekends. But, I learned my lesson - fresh oil only or better yet, I will just heat the corn tortillas till soft, no oil. Don't need the extra calories or cleanup. Thanks to all again for your prompt responses and suggestions. Had we lived in our rig full time I would've taken direct action using one of the many suggestions.

My 08 Allegro came without an outside stove exhaust fan. It had one of those useless filter fan. By the time the roof vent worked, the whole coach would smell awful. I don't know why a company such as Tiffin Motor Homes would build a coach this way.
Anyway, I invested in a new outside exhaust fan with an outside vent. The difference is incredible! I can cook steak or anything for that matter and there is no smell in the RV.
P.S. Care should be taken when cutting through the wall for electrical wires. Use a stud and electric wire detector. My Allegro had the Air conditioner wire smack in the middle of the cutout. I notched the baffle and it works great.

OIL to heat up tortillas????
If you get PROPER tortillas they are made with plenty of LARD and require no oil at all, just a real hot skillet !
I especially like the one's we get at Superstition Market in Apache Junction, Arizona. We tried the REAL CHEAP one's that come across the border and decided we like them BEST...
Get rid of the SMELL??
Folks should PAY to smell a freshly scorched flour tortilla !!!
