I never called on any service, but from what I have seen, there are all types of people running around doing all kinds of things, from broken windshields, Venation blinds, plumbing, hand washing, and there even a few shops that stay there year around. Bill

A very good friend of ours camps with us in Q and is a Certified RV Mechanic (Mobile). He seems to be kept pretty busy doing repairs and replacements when there. Haven't seen anyone changing oil and such but you could probably find someone.

Were staying at the Burwood RV park for four days starting Jan 16th and can't wait. We were their two years ago because DW does not like to dry camp and had a ball. Planing on makeing it part of a 2-3 month trip. And get out of the SNOW and COLD weather

The BIG TENT was the main reason I went to Q the first time...I have been there 4 times since and each time the RV Show seems to have less importance and my participation is less than before. The thrill of seeing all the other RV's strung out in the desert, and the hustle and bustle of the town and merchants and vendors is what the big draw is to me now. It also opened up my world to Boondocking or Dry Camping and it has been good ever since. We just started a 5 month stint of Dry Camping as BLM Camp hosts. Q is the MECCA for RV's.

Another question: Can one purchase several two week passes in La Posa instead of buying the six month pass? We want to be there only about 4 weeks maximum, which would be a lot cheaper at $40 per two week pass versus $180 for six months.
Thanks.
