I am considering a 1999 RT 200 Popular with Chevy Chassis. Just wondering what the average MPG is for these. Didn't find anything with a search. Thanks.

I get 15-16 on trips in the West, but I use a fairly light foot. I have the 6-liter engine. I think in 1999, it was a 5.7, but I wouldn't expect the mileage to be any different. I love the 200, with all its storage, and for other reasons.
I put on new tires recently, and my mileage this summer fell to the very low 15 range. With new tires, that's to be expected. Anyway, 15+ if you are careful and 14+ if you are not. None of this takes into account city driving.

I have a very light foot, so that's encouraging.
The storage does look good on the 200! I'd like to hear the other reasons you love it, too. Thanks.

Sure. Wide fiberglass body gives more interior room. We have the Versatile, so a total of 4 beds. The two in the front are closer to "kids beds," but my 13-year old still uses his without complaint. I think they are four inches wider than on the 190. Rear bed is 78 inches long (max) in the Versatile, so big enough for me, at 6'. I could use more length, but it is really OK. Interior height of 74' lets me stand straight up. even with shoes on.
Also, freshwater tank is 32 gallons, grey is 38, propane is 12 gallons, and fridge is 4 cubic feet. Seriously, with the water tanks and storage, the biggest problem is being sure not to overload your 200. With three passengers total, fully loaded for a month's worth of travel, a full tank of gas and a couple bikes on a hitch rack, we start to approach 9400 lbs. or so, which is the highest I like to go (Max rated weight is 9600. You also need to pay attention to the max rated axle weights and distribute it properly from font to back.)
Hmm. I guess that covers the specific reasons for my being so fond of the 200. It suits us perfectly.
