Stupid question but I can't remember from last year. Winterized the camper this morning, drained the water heater pumped 1 gallon of pink stuff. Question is how does the hot water lines drain?

You should have a bypass for the hot water tank and after you bypass, you pump the pink stuff through the hot water spigots as well as the cold outlets.

Check on the outside of the RV by the panel that the hot water tank is located.....you will find a plug on the outside that you can open to drain the water.

What we do is, before running the pink stuff thru, bypass the HWH, drain it, and open all the low point drains. (We did this as we left our last campout this fall.) This should drain most of the water from the system.

Since you've already done the pink stuff, bypass the HWH and run more pink stuff (via the pump) through the hot water faucets. Don't forget the shower, and the outside shower if you have one. That should do it for you.

Not at ALL sure I understand how you winterized. To do it correctly you don't pump any specific amount of antifreeze you pump antifreeze through every water line in your trailer including toilet, dog shower, people shower and all sink faucets (hot and cold side), until pink antifreeze is coming out solidly. With the water heater in bypass mode this will take anywhere from one to three gallons depending on your trailer and how it's equipped. You should ALSO have drained any water you can get out of both cold AND hot water lines by opening the low point drains first then closing them again and draining the water heater and replace the plug again once it's bypassed. Good luck / skip
