I have an industrial 2 stage Ingersol Rand in the garage. Its stationary and have it piped to the workbench.

I also have a portable 5 HP unit that I welded a clip to, and another clip in the tractor front end loader. I just wheel it to the tractor, drop a bolt in the clips and I can take it anywhere I need it with the tractor. Its handy, because I can throw any other tools, nail guns, hose, etc in the bucket with it.

I am suprised how many people own a TT before they have an air compressor in the garage.

For the price my compressor is one of my most valued tools, and the best part: air is FREE!.

Nuttins free but almost...gotta pay for the electricity to run the compressor to fill the tank unless you got a solar unit to that for ya

or one could use the compresses air to turn a wind turbine then to generate the electricity needed...

I haven't seen "Motorcycle dryer" listed as a compressor use. The compressed air is great to get all the water, dust and dirt out of all the nooks and crannies of a motorcycle.

Hadn't thought of that one, that is something to remember for my next harley wash job!!

Me too! Nice idea. I hate those water spots!
