Wondering if anybody lives near Camping World RV Sales of Boise and could maybe stop and take a quick look at this classic and very rare beauty for me. I’m currently in FL and not able to get up there right now but could buy it sight unseen if its as nice as it looks in the pictures and pick it up later.
Also, if I do buy this I could be interested in paying somebody to pick it up and store it short term in a covered space.
Please let me know if you have a few minutes to stop and take a look! This would not be for resale, it's one I would want for myself to put on a matching year Chevrolet K20 4x4

Looking for any information available on Del Rey "Sky Lounge" and Kamp King slide-ins for preservation/restoration projects.

I'd be very happy to do that for you. In fact I have seen it once before, just kind of marvelling at it. Didn't really inspect it.
I have a couple obligations this morning but I can run out there this afternoon and give it a good once over. It is more than likely winterized and the battery removed so I couldn't check everything but the major thing would be water damage.
I can take my camera in case there is something you need to see.

Wow, thank you very much! I’m not really concerned with its systems being in good working order. I’m mostly concerned with soft spots in the floor and any other signs of rot and the condition of the exterior skin.
Whatever the case I may still buy it even if it does have noticeable problems.

OK, here you go. Talked to a real nice salesman named Nick and he let me go over the camper.
It appears to be in very decent condition, especially for it's age. With this style roof I don't believe it would ever leak. I could not get on top to inspect areas around the AC, etc. The interior ceiling and wall are also metal, painted white.

The ceiling light has been replaced with a smaller unit leaving some holes exposed.

Storage under the dinette floor is cool!!!

The next two shots are damage from sliding in and out of the dinette.

This is the very worst spot I could find in the entire camper. It is the panel below the fridge which appears to have gotten pretty wet. But looks like the only place it could have got wet is from something leaking in the fridge.

I could not tell anything about the floor. It is solid to jump on but it is also sitting on a dolly.
It comes with two portable jacks. Real old ones!!! The kind with the angle iron which fits under the wing hooked to a cable with a boat winch all on a tripod stand. The salesman watched them unload it and said he didn't want to be anywhere around it to watch it again!!! Scary!!!
I hope I am not leading you astray but it appears to me to be a very solid unit and with a little work could look like brand new!!!
Let me know if I can do anything else for you.............DJ

BiGG, I sold my '67 C-10 a couple of months ago after having it for sale for about a year. Mine was a couch model, but pics of the dinette model I've seen were completely different from this one. I may be wrong, but I think that this particular one has been completely changed and remodeled, albeit quite nicely. The price is higher than most, but it may be worth it.
Having owned one for over 10 years, if you have any questions, feel free to PM me.
