93mastercraft, I'd like to say I totally agree with you. Bought a brand new Raptor last year and it's been junk from the get go. I can't believe these posts that find these things acceptable. Spent almost 50K and they think you should fix it yourself! Imagine if you bought a new car or truck (probably spend way less money) and the center console falls out. Do you think these guys would just say, Oh well, that's the way it is, I'll fix it myself. Guaranteed they'd be back at the dealer screaming what a piece of junk they had! I realize most of these units only have minor issues, but these manufacturers really need to get the big problems taken care of. If they're going to command that much money, it ought to be worth it.

I had the exact same thing happen to me this past August on my way to Sturgis. Except for me one bike fell over into another and messed up the brand new paint job. NICE! Anyway, the rings supplied are considered light duty. I replaced mine with the 5k D-rings on this webb site. http://www.etrailer.com/c-TIE.htm As you can see there is a big difference. I was able to use the same spot and only had to enlarge the hole in the floor maybe 1/2 inch with a chisel to make it sit flat. I then drilled 4 new holes and used thru- bolts with a large washer then smaller washer underneath. I think it will hold a car now... The 5k D-rings are solid and wont separate. Who would have thought the rings would do that... not me as I had a relaxing trip to Sturgis until BAMMM! last day of arrival this happens. Made my day... So yes, the stock ones are JUNK! I already wrote a post about it in August. I went with these D-rings because I wanted to have them recessed in the floor so i could still put my carpet over them when not in use. Hope this helps Jeff

Having d-rings in a TH that will not hold your motorcycle up is like having an F350 Dually that will not pull a 13000lb Raptor. Well, actually Ford has addressed all my concerns with the 6.0. I have no worries, because as long as it's under warrenty, I know Ford will make it right. I can't say the same for Keystone. Ford F350 or Raptor, they were actually about the same cost...

I feel your pain, bought a 09 3612ds in late 08 many little problems and now i have been trying to get the correct front ward mirror for 4 -5months the clip that holds it broke and the mirror slid back and forth and cracked. ( i have a trailersaver hitch). i have not been impressed at all. we had a forest river "wildwood toyhauler" for 3 years not one problem worked like it should foe HALF the money!just was a lil smaller.

I am already getting a bad feeling about my dealer. I called the SM a few days ago to tell them to come get the Raptor, as I was not going to burn my fuel to get it over there. So, far I have braught most of my complants to them. But I am beginning to get the feeling that they will not be much help. I am waiting to see what will happen.

stay after them, like many here have said the moment you drive off the lot with the trailer the customer service goes down the tiolet! i told a woman at keystone that. and thats one of the problems that got the domestic car companys in trouble . stop taking care of your customers and your customers will stop taking care of you. keep us posted on everything.

I feel for all you folks who are having these problems. I was coming back from a week in Branson on Sunday and stopped at a truck stop for some coffee and a walk break for the pooches. While I was inside a fellow saw my trl and pulled in and talked with my wife. When I came back out he had all kinds of questions if this that and the other has happened to me he had bought a new model Raptor and had tons of problems. My only issue was the wheels and tires and after reading this board changed em instantly to 16's and E rated. I have an 05/06 title says 06 trl says 05 . I did have an issue with Keystone I wanted to add some cabinets and asked them for blue prints and the were real jerks about it said they can't do that. Seems customer relations leave a lot to be desired for the amount of money we spend on these things. I guess I've been lucky no issues.Oh and I figured out where to mount the cabinets, they haven't come off yet. OH and I have a wing and a VTX in the garage, only issue there had a strap break on the maiden voyage just scrached the blind on the right side. Hang in there when you get all this******solved you will enjoy the unit, we do

Your probably not going to like this but,Come on now just looking at the D rings A person could tell they were not made for a large Motorcycle.Do you have any Ideal how much the bike is going to move at the back of the trailer? The further away from the axles the more the movement. I am in the market for a toy hauler and most of them you have to install the hold downs your self. Do to the different applications that are out there. I haul 2 dressers. I use the Condor Wheel chocks with retractable straps. It cost you about 370.00 per bike. For a 25,000 bike. As for the quality of the toy haulers for the price the Raptor is not that bad. As far as with a new new or a new to you used RV I have found that the new ones have more problems then the used ones. Want to spend more time at the dealership? Buy a boat.. BOAT.. Bring Out Another Thousand I know that after spending your hard earned money a person want there product right. Just calm down write down the things that need to be repaired and let the dealer ship fix it under warranty

I have a 300 MP and had to install the rail tie downs myself. I have had to fix a lot of things because Keystone has very poor designs & in MHO doesn't have any quallity control! If you really want to get p!ssed off, measure the width of your new investment. Legal width for any trailer in most states is 102" or 8 1/2 feet. my 300 MP is 109" at the widest part & 103 " at the narrowest part. I can't wait to get pulled over and see what the ticket will cost!! If I knew they were building illegal trailers, I would have bought somthing else!
