I saw two semis parked at a truck stop last summer with extra long flat bed trailers. Each truck had one propeller blade on it. Huge!!!

A little ways down the road I saw a huge stand of windmills!!

There was a story on the trucks hauling those blades in the paper a few months back. The trailers are way longer than the standard 53' flatbed and have steerable rear axles remotely controlled by a chase driver so they can actually go around corners.

We enjoyed camping on Banks lake back in 1998. We were with friends on our Harley comming back from Sturgis. Boy was it ever hot in August & enjoyed a good swim. Are they still doing the lasser light show on the dam?

Yes! Between Memorial day and Labor day if memory serves.

Did you take the tour of the dam when you were there?

We sure did! That's how we found out about the pump/generators and Banks Lake. I was taking notes.

It certainly looks a bit like near Wayfarer's State Park on Flathead Lake, but I'm guessing not. In any case, that'll serve as my guess. Somebody will know.

Camped at mile 42 on the Denali Highway with the Maclaren Glacier in the background. The MACLAREN LODGE that is across the road from us has a hot spot so I am checking my email.
