Hey RVer's
I have a 2004 Larado 5er and my Suburban furnace would not work. It has ALWAYS worked everytime until this past week-end. I crank up the thermostat and nothing...just a click, no blower, no nothing
Any ideas ? I checked the fuses but that is all I checked.
Yes, we have the LP bottles topped off.

Thanks

Fan starting and then click would say you are looking at possibly a dirty sail switch.

I have had the problem in the my Cougar, more than once. Try disconnecting shore power and battery power. This should reset it and start up.

Bad sail switch would still allow the blower to fire up wouldn't it ?
So you had the same identical problem as me and it was the sail switch.
How did you check that the problem as the sail switch? No current to switch?

Also, disconnecting shore power and disconnecting the batteries might reset everything ?
Thanks for the replies

If the fan does not start then there should be a resettable circuit breaker on the fan housing. Your late model rig probably has the time delay built on the circuit board. You didn't want to hear that did you? Dinoaur Electronics is a better circuit board.
Check the circuit breaker in furnace first.
Rick: A sail switch is a small microswitch with an arm that sticks into the fan assembly. When the fan blows over it, it closes to allow the burner to lite the flame.
